A grim & emotional premiere…

AMC has been airing a series of new TV Spots for the back half of Season 8 of The Walking Dead, which will return in one month!

“It’s not enough. If you give a shit, if you care, you do something.” ~ Carl

There’s no doubt that the premiere of the second half of Season 8 is going to be an emotional roller-coaster ride, as fans bid a fond and bitter farewell to Carl Grimes, who was bitten in the final episode and whose death was saved for the midseason premiere.

The Walking Dead is gearing up for its biggest death in the show’s history with the midseason premiere of season 8. It’s slated to be an extended episode confirmed to be 82 minutes long. This will give the writers of the show plenty of time to honor the passing Carl. Truly a moment of despair for fans of the show.

The loss of Carl, who has been a key member of the show right from the first episodes will be an emotional blow like no other. Carl is Rick’s last remaining link to his family before the apocalypse, and when he dies Rick will either spiral down into despair or he will get up and go after Negan and the Saviors with a vengeance like none we have ever seen on the show.
