Mordor 1998

On a historical note:

This was the first page created for Mordor back in 1998. I wanted to see an animated version of the Dark Tower created by John Howe. This was before I even knew that Peter Jackson was planning to make a film trilogy of the Lord of the Rings. My vision of the eye in the Dark Tower seems quaint after seeing how Peter Jackson, John Howe and the folks at Weta Digital brought the Eye of Sauron to life on film. However, I still like this animated page, because it reminds me of the excitement I have always felt about the Lord of the Rings.
