Dark Artists featured at Mordor TLOS.com
In the past we began the effort to create a fan artists page here at Mordor and we got many wonderful and dark submissions. However, we felt we could not compete with the many Tolkien artist gallery sites which offer much more in the way of features for budding Tolkien and fantasy artist to submit their work.

So in rethinking the use of this page we have decided to make the a place to honor and give thanks and credit to all the artist feature at this site visually and musically. We will be expanding this area to include a bio of each artist with links to their websites and hopefully interviews. Check back here in the coming months to see this expanding area of Mordor

The Land of Shadow.com is my interpretation of Tolkien's Mordor.
This site could not have been created without the inspiration from the masterful works of many artists upon which my vision of Mordor was built. This Land of Shadow is a personal expression of my joy in the reading of The Lord of the Rings.

Here on these pages we want to honor and give credit to all the great artist whose work we feature here. Below is just a short list of those who we will be adding to our list.
John Howe  I   Alan Lee   l  Ted Nasmith
The Brothers Hildebrandt
Peter Jackson and all the Artists at Weta and Wingnut
...and of course the Words and Drawings of  J. R. R. Tolkien
