Concept artist and illustrator George Rushing has posted some of the concept art created for Middle-earth: Shadow of War and his interpretation of the Mordor landscapes and locations is impressive.
“Long had it been forging in the dark smithies of Mordor, and its hideous head, founded of black steel, was shaped in the likeness of a ravening wolf; on it spells of ruin lay.” ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
The concept artists for Middle-earth: Shadow of War were called upon to visualize a much broader vision of Mordor, than we saw in the first game, with varied landscapes and fortresses throughout the Land of Shadow.
Concept artist and illustrator George Rushing works at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment as a Senior Concept Artist and he has added some of the concept art pieces he created for Middle-earth: Shadow of War to his portfolio site. These images create a wonderful vision of Mordor.
