The great Troll beasts…

Here is our next update to Mordor’s Servants of Shadow, Trolls, one of the strongest of Morgoth’s creations in the pits of Angband.

“They were trolls. Obviously trolls. Even Bilbo, in spite of his sheltered life, could see that: from the great heavy faces of them, and their size, and the shape of their legs, not to mention their language, which was not drawing-room fashion at all, at all.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien

Goblins, Orcs and Wargs… Oh My!

Spears crossed, swords touched and arrows flew in a Czech forest over the weekend as hundreds of fans of the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien reenacted the major battle of in The Hobbit.

“Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees and the waterfalls, and explore the caves, and wear a sword instead of a walking-stick.”  ~ J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit Lay your staff here for more »

Vintage Van Art

Nothing says 1970s like a custom van, with a paint job featuring whatever cool thing you were into at the time and Middle-earth was no exception!

“In the 1970s, many van owners took their shaggin’ wagons seriously and tricked them out to the limit: Big shiny sidepipes with mellow sound, plush interior carpeting for maximum fornication, duals to amp up the horsepower and perhaps most importantly, the artwork on the sides.” ~ Flashbak.com Lay your staff here for more »
